PHILIPSBURG:--- The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) informed the public that it arrested a 29-year-old male suspect, initials A.J.C., on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in connection with a shooting incident in Betty’s Estate on July 24, 2026.
The victim, who was shot near his residence, was transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for medical treatment. His condition was non-life-threatening. He was later released from the Sint Maarten Medical Center.
The Detective Department, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, continues to investigate the case. Further arrests remain possible.
