SIMPSON BAY:--- Women gathered at BethsAida Boutique Hotel & Conference Center on Saturday for Business and Professional Women Concordia Saint Martin's signature Members in Motion, “Ladies, Are You Wearing the Right Support?”, an educational event focused on fit, comfort, confidence, and support through the different stages of a woman’s life.
Presented by Chalesea Maccow, the evening encouraged women to consider a simple question: As your body changes, has the support you wear changed with it?
The presentation explored the differences between fit, comfort and support, along with everyday signs that may indicate it is time to reassess a bra. Women were encouraged to look beyond the size on the label and pay attention to how their garments actually fit, feel and move with their bodies.
The evening also included practical discussion around different stages of a woman’s life and the versatility of the Angel Bra.
The conversation then moved beyond the support women wear to the support women can provide to one another with the introduction of Project 5000. The event was intentionally designed to provide education first and then introduce the larger community initiative.
The message of the evening was clear: “Every stage. Everybody. You deserve the right support.”
