PHILIPSBURG:--- The Court of First Instance was scheduled on Wednesday, September 16, to consider the criminal case involving the alleged ill-treatment and unlawful deprivation of liberty of an employee.
One of the suspects was expected to appear before the Court. The case was previously postponed in July, with proceedings expected to continue in mid-September.
However, the investigating judge must first interview several witnesses. Due to scheduling constraints, those interviews are planned for November.
The Court therefore postponed the case without setting a new hearing date. Proceedings will continue after the witness interviews have been completed.
