Committee of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs (CECYSA) to meet with SCDF on Tuesday.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Committee of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs of Parliament will meet on October 19, 2021.

The Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, at 10.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. Representatives of the Board of the Sint Maarten Carnival Development Foundation will be present.
The SCDF requested this meeting, to bring Parliament up to date regarding developments and challenges surrounding Carnival as well to provide a clear understanding of past developments.

The agenda point is:
Discussion with the Sint Maarten Carnival Development Foundation regarding developments and challenges surrounding Carnival (IS/546/2020-2021 dated March 31, 2021)

Due to measures taken to mitigate the coronavirus (COVID-19), the House of Parliament is only allowing persons with an appointment to enter the Parliament building.
