PHILIPSBURG(DCOMM):--- Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that Windward Roads will be carrying out road patchwork activities to the intersection of Welfare road/Wellington road and Cay Bay/Welfare road.
The aforementioned will take place from 2.00PM to 4.00AM on Saturday, August 31.
The intersection of Welfare road/Wellington road will be closed for through traffic. All motorized traffic will be diverted through Wellington road/Orange Grove road onto Union road.
Motorists are advised to follow the directional signs and pay close attention as workmen and equipment will be busy along this part of the road network.
The road work activities to be carried out entails filling and compacting potholes and the overlay of asphalt.
In the area of the St. Dominic School, two-speed bumps will be replaced. This will take place on August 31.
The public and motorists are advised that tampering by removing barricades or any Government property is punishable by law.
