~ Dutch CFO will be appointed for two years.~
PHILIPSBURG:--- The Prime Minister of St. Maarten on behalf of the Council of Ministers orders the Princess Juliana International Airport Holding to take the necessary steps to appoint the Dutch candidate from Royal Schipol Group as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
According to the letter of instruction sent on to PJIAE states that the Council of Ministers took a decision on April 23rd, 2019 in its urgent need to establish a complete functioning Management Board at PJIAE.
Romeo Marlin further states that the Council of Ministers approved the appointment of Mr. Gerben Alexander Stavast for Royal Schipol Group is the selected candidate that has to be appointed for a period of two years, while a local counter person needs to be prepared as the successor to the CFO position. Romeo Marlin further instructs PJIAH to ensure that the appointment takes place by July 1st, 2019 and that Royal Schipol Group has to be notified in order for Stevast to start on August 1st, 2019.
In meantime, the Royal Schipol Group has nominated the names of persons that they would like appointed to PJIAE management and Supervisory Board.
They are Mer. Gerban Stavast as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. James Fazio as Member of the Supervisory Board and Mr. Alain Maca also as Member of the Supervisory Board.
