PHILIPSBURG:--- In a press release from The Power to Serve Toastmasters Club, President Ahisha Nunes congratulated the club first Competent Communicator (CC) Toastmaster Yannick Hodge who has been a member since the clubs installation in 2017. Presenting the award to CC Yannick Hodge was NV GEBE ‘s CEO, Mr. Kenrick Chittick. The award was presented to Yannick at one of the clubs bi-weekly meeting. President Ahisha Nunes stated that she was proud of all the accomplishments of each member and believes the little things are the steps to greatness.” “The club has been growing for the past year while also planning and accomplishing set goals”.
President Ahisha added that to be eligible for this award, a member must have completed the 10 speeches from the Competent Communication manual. The club currently consist of thirty five members all of whom are working towards developing oral communication and leadership skills while also building confidence and personal growth.
The Power to Serve Toastmasters Club meets every first and third Wednesday of each month at the Potelco Building in Sucker Garden at 5:30pm
