PHILIPSBURG:--- The Ministry of VROMI is hereby informing all businesses and residents that the cleaning of main roadsides is coming to an end.
It’s been more than 6 weeks since the passing of Hurricane Irma and the dumping of debris on the main road will no longer be tolerated. All businesses and residents located adjacent to the main road have to transport their debris to the landfill on pond island which has been specifically set up to handle such debris.
At present, the Ministry is trying its utmost to clean up the inner roads. The Ministry is also busy sanitizing various dumping sites to curtail any hygienic issues.
