EXCLUSIVE: Is there a conspiracy to allow the Dutch Government to take over St. Maarten?

PHILIPSBURG:--- As things unfold surrounding the snap elections called by the now demissionary government who seems not to know their head from their feet more chaos are purposely being created as if St. Maarten is not governable and that there would be a need for a takeover.
Governor Holiday who is supposed to watch over and ensure that the laws of St. Maarten are maintained seems to be dropping the ball over and over. Governor Holiday seems not to have a hold on the current situation, or maybe he is dragged into the conspiracy theory.
First off Governor Holiday signed off and ratified the decree submitted by Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin on Monday September 23rd to invoke article 59 of the constitution and dissolve the parliament of St. Maarten and call for snap elections, knowing that the constitution does not provide for snap elections and while a basis for snap elections is taken from the constitution it contradicts the electoral laws. One must understand that when snap elections are called because of greed and selfishness of the Council of Ministers and the dates have to be adjusted either the laws based on the constitution are being violated or the electoral laws are being violated which led to the members of the Central Voting Bureau making their positions available on Tuesday.
On Tuesday evening the Council of Ministers said in a press release that they have taken a decision to postpone postulation day which was scheduled for October 2nd after the members of the voting bureau made their positions available.
Somehow the bright minds in the Council of Ministers do not know that to postpone postulation day or any dates related to elections they must submit an LB to the Governor of St. Maarten with those new dates which must be signed off by the Governor. The Council of Ministers cannot be allowed to railroad voters or anyone with their Adhoc decisions that are not in the best interest of the country and its people. These appointed Ministers especially Prime Minister Romeo Marlin was given a task to ensure that the country is governed and the laws are maintained and respected. Since being in office the Prime Minister and Leader of the St. Maarten Christian Party Minister Wycliffe Smith did absolutely nothing when it comes to amending the laws that can synchronize with each other.
The least the Governor of St. Maarten could do is call the Prime Minister to order to at least follow the rules and laws of the country that he is supposed to guard. One can easily say the political situation has created confusion and allows anyone to become frustrated but certainly it does not leave room for anyone to run from their responsibilities.
One must ask themselves if there is some sort of conspiracy by the players that called for snap elections to show and say St. Maarten is ungovernable and its time for a take over by the Dutch Government. If that is the case then the parliament of St. Maarten do have a huge role to play by ensuring they protect the sovereignty of this new country called St. Maarten firstly by jumping on the same ship as Statia to show that the UN Charter the Dutch signed on to is not respected.
