Gospel Singer Sinach Arrives Friday for Concert.

sinach05022019PHILIPSBURG:--- Gospel lovers are gearing up for this weekend’s big night when world-renowned Nigerian singer/songwriter Sinach touches down at the Festival Village for an All White Night of Worship concert, hosted by Christian Faith Ministries International (CFMI).

The ‘I Know Who I Am’ singer and her entourage are due to arrive on the island Friday and preparations are in full swing to pull off what organizers have dubbed a night of healing and worship on Saturday, February 9.

Fans are eager to hear some of their favorite songs, such as ‘Way Maker’, ‘I Know Who I Am’, ‘Awesome God’, ‘Shout of the King’, ‘Born to Win’, ‘Fire in me’, ‘More of You’, and ‘This is Your Season’, the latter of which won Sinach the award for Song of the Year in 2008.

Born Osinachi Kalu in Nigeria, the multi-award-winning recording artiste, songwriter, and performer will be joined on stage Saturday night by St. Maarten’s own award-winning gospel singer, Benjamin Bell and his band, God’s Chosen; as well as Cecil Griffith, Shawn J, Raheem Atkinson, Steven Anderson, Mary-Louse Rattan, The Harmonics Band, CFM Choir, CFM Vessels of Honor, and Total Praise dancers.

CFM’s Apostle, Edwin Arrindell said the main objective of bringing the international singing sensation to the island is to give glory to God and to encourage and uplift the community of St. Maarten and surrounding islands, especially those who are still experiencing the aftereffects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

“The islands were left in a devastated state. Homes, livelihood, vehicles and the economy [were all] impacted. As a result, I began to seek God’s guidance as to what we can do as a church, understanding the social, economic, emotional, and spiritual low at the time,” the Apostle said in November after announcing the impending concert.

As a key member of the Love-World music team of Christ Embassy, Sinach has witnessed, first hand, amazing miracles in the lives of people while ministering in music. The mother of one, who has been singing since she was a child, has written more than 500 songs, performed throughout the world, and has several awards for her earthy soul-touching gospel music. As her biographer wrote, her songs bring joy to many and tell of the importance of serving God and living a life of holiness. The spiritually-gifted minister and worship leader focuses on bringing healing, hope, and encouragement to the millions to whom she ministers and plans to bring that same message to St. Maarten.

The event, sponsored by the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau, CC1, Motorworld, Princess Juliana International Airport, St. Maarten Concrete, Terry’s Welding and Fabrication N.V., First Response, and Henderson’s Insurance, has been receiving an overwhelming response from the public.

Patrons are encouraged to snap up their tickets which are now on sale for $35 (adults) and $10 (children) at Van Dorp in Madame Estate, the Family Bookstore, Lydia’s Flower Shop, Digital Gumbs, SOS Radio, Radio Maranatha, and Christian Faith Ministries International.
