PHILIPSBURG:--- Management of GEBE has suspended two of its managers on Tuesday, they are Human Resource Manager Clifford Sasso and ICT Manager Merril “Jimmy” Timmer.
SMN News understands that the two managers were suspended because of another security breach that took place on July 28th 2018.
The two managers namely Sasso and Timmer have been suspended indefinitely.
On May 2nd 2018, emails coming from Berris Kingsdale’s email address leaked confidential information regarding Antonio Brooks and minutes from the Supervisory Board of Directors. Brooks has since taken GEBE to court. At the moment there are four court cases against GEBE, while GEBE just lost a case that was filed by Patsy Lynch.
On June 9th 2018, the same email address was used to leak information regarding the company’s internal auditor Sharine Daniel. While on July 28th 2018, another security breach was committed this time involving alleged illegal acts by management of GEBE who chose to withdraw warning letters that were issued to some employees by former Managing Director Andrew Zaggers.
The emails with confidential information was sent to all of the staff members of GEBE.
Based on the email of July 28th 2018, warning letters that were issued to Antonio Brown, Cheryl Arnel, Diana Copeland-Woodley and Beris Kingsdale.
It is clear that GEBE management that is currently functioning without a Supervisory Board are busy cleaning up files of persons that are close to the current management team. Even more concerning is that the letters that are being removed from the employees’ files were issued by previous management and not the current management team.
Even though the leaks are coming from the email address of the assistant manager Beris Kingsdale no actions have been taken against Kingsdale since he is close to the management team.
