PHILIPSBURG:--- Two armed bandits entered the office building of the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF) around 2:45pm on Friday and managed to rob the cashier of the day’s income. Technical Director of SMHDF Edel Jensen said in an invited comment to SMN News that the two armed men entered the building and held up the security prior to approaching the cashier and demanded money. Jensen did not disclose how much money the bandits made away but said that it was the day’s income. He said the two armed men then fled the scene on a motorcycle.
