Taloula Mango to Host Dance CXC fundraiser.

taloula08062016PHILIPSBURG:--- Fundraising efforts from students at the National Institute of Arts, Charlotte Brookson Academy of the Performing Arts, St.Maarten Academy and St. Dominic High School continue with unabated fervor.
The students are dedicated and committed in their pursuits to raise money for their culturally rich and academic intensive summer camp to the prestigious Edna Manley College for the Visual and the Performing Arts.

Norman Wathey of Taloula Mango has come forward as generous benefactor making the space in front of Taloula Mango available for the students to do a talent show case. On Friday June 10 from 6pm to 8pm students of the above-mentioned school are presenting a fundraising Performance featuring dancers, poets, Vocalist from their various high schools.

Also participating and lending support to the student’s efforts is the team of Art Save Lives who too is working avidly to raise money to assist the students in getting to Jamaica.

In addition to the Taloula Mango performance, students will hold a second Flea Market on Saturday June 1st from 10 am to 2pm at NIA located at the John Larmonie Center. Vendors who wish to sell their wares need only pay a $10 rental fee to be able to participate.

You too can assist the students in their effort by attending the performance at Taloula Mango in great numbers. There is no fee but you can make donations on site.
