Harbor loses Court Case against Dock Maartens --- Company has legal Building Permit.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Harbor Holding Companies lost its court case it filed against Dock Maartens. The Habor Holding Companies approached the court to stop Dock Maartens from continuing its project which is building a pier. The court ruled that developers obtained a building from the department of VROMI on July 14th 2014 and the Harbor Holding companies never used the appeal time to file an appeal against the building permit that was issued. Normally interested parties have up to six weeks to appeal the issuance of permits that would hinder their business, but no one filed an objection or appeal against the building permit that was issued on July 14th 2014. The judge said in its ruling that the Harbor Holding did not submit such an objection therefore the building permit issued to Dock Maarten is irrevocable, Dock Maartens is allowed to build in accordance with the terms of the building permit. The court also condemn the Harbor Holding to pay the cost for the court procedures.
