On Thursday July 26th, 2012 at approximately 4:00am, a man from the Dominican Republic was arrested at Tantra Night Club. This man's correct identity is still being investigated because he has been using several false names. The suspect purchased jewelry of considerable value in a Jewelry Store on Front Street and attempted to purchase more jewelry at other jewelry stores on the island using false credit cards and false identification. The suspect also used these false documents to pay for the hotel where he was staying. During his arrest several false credit cards and identification were confiscated. Official complaints have been filed against this suspect and the investigation is being done by the Fraud Department.
