I’m requesting the prosecutor to investigate and prosecute labor oppression and intimation by MP Jules James with regards to forcing workers to sign makeshift labor contract and not allowing them to have or read a copy of what is being signed. Who should the one upholding not just letter but spirit of the law?

@eldridge:

Your post is pure show. Why not leave it up to the labor department to investigate and take action if needed? If the labor department is not executing their task sufficient in your opinion, you can file your complaint with the ombudsman. If this entity is also unproductive you can take the latter to court.

You are not a party in this matter and you are surprising me over and over again with your nonsens. As a self-proclaimed "unionist" and "social activist" you ought to know how this system works. I suggest that you either support the workers with some sense or just hold your peace. You are not contributing to à solution at all.

Do not make me laugh, Let the prosecutor know what happened to the money you were sentenced. You knew it all but let someone else in Anguilla whose name you put the money under go with it. After doing your time in Point Blanche it was just gone. The name holder of the funds went with the funds and was smarter than you. That is quite a laugh. Nowadays you have resorted to your drug habit and is always high high high Anything to be said to the Prosecutor (to whom you always refers), is stolen Union money by you from ILS 2000.

Thank for given this important matter your attention. Now us let’s get to what we know about. Is it all right to live in a country where anyone must sign any document and not get a copy of what he or she is actually signing? Particularly, if that authority is a member of parliament should that authority be held at a higher standard than others? And is it all right to accuse or make personal statements and not put your name to be exposed or judge by the same standard? Perhaps we should just a*sume that you attempting to change the subject therefore this your feeble excuse of ridiculing the messenger. Well rest a*sured that an official presentation will be made to the prosecutor office. The law of land still demands that when you witness a crime you report it to the prosecutor office.

All of this bickering is not called for. We must start to understand that while each member of Parliament ran on a politicial party, they are all individuals and reserve the rights to vote any which way they so pleases to do.

What Jules James did was point blank wrong and I feel that a majority of the MP'S should show their balls and stand up for what they believe in.

This is not a political issue, it is an issue about the legalities and the fact that James voted was totally wrong. There should not even had been a need for this meeting.

I am curious to see what the results will be of this meeting. Hopefully there ARE some MP's with dignity and courage left.
