newofficersgrppic03092010Philipsburg:--- On Friday four new officers took the oath at the swearing-in ceremony in the presence of Acting Lt. Governor Mrs. Rachnilda J.A. Lynch-Arduin at the Government Administration Building. The names of these officers are Andrea D. De Jong, Carlos W. Muller and Juan F.J. Tromp who are coming from Aruba and are in Sint Maarten to assist the KPSSS in several ongoing criminal investigations.
swearingin03092010Theodorus J. M. van Deventer is also one of the officers that have been sworn in. He is the Forensic expert from the Netherlands and is here to assist the Forensic Department for a period of two years. Also present during this ceremony were the Chief of police Commissioner Peter de Witte and the Acting Chief of police Commissioner Carl John.

Coming from Aruba to a*sisr this island wirh crime ? One month or two ago after the cruel discovery of the body of the Hatian girl, an a*sistance also came from Aruba, This man went to a popular spot on Front Street where you can either win. loose or draw. He won as he was bettting very good. HE went to the cashier several times because it was his lucky night with a couple of thousands un chips. But because of the high bet kepy going in his pocket and loosing back what he had already c hanged. He later searched his pocket and then claimed yhay his money fell through the wrong part of his pocket. What A BIG LIE, and BAD ACCUSATION for a man of tje law. Moreover he became under the influence of the frree alcoholic drinks and began with this loud accusation and when other players try to exolain him that he didn't leave his money drop where someone else took iy uo, he became an Arubian unfriendly pig verbally abusing the playerts.
I took a distance and the night became unpleasant. I am now concerned because I never heard of a solution in the case that was current abd bow they are bringing more Aruba police to swear in for how long, to do which cases ? Criminasl can catch criminals ? Or are thay also here to turn criminals ?
