Breaker Box at Administration Building Caught Fire.

breakerbox01092010Philipsburg:--- A host of firemen and fire trucks responded to the government administration building on Wednesday morning when one of the breaker boxes that is located outside of the building caught fire.
Spokesman for the fire department told SMN News who was on the spot that they basically had to secure the area and the building until GEBE was able to send someone to fix the problems with the breaker box. The fire department spokesman said that the main cause of the fire is that water got to the box either during the passing of hurricane Earl or from the rain from tropical storm Fiona.

And we have a brand new government building just sitting there empty because it is not of interest to be finished by who?

The old building is outdated and upgrades should have been made a long time ago. Is there no maintenance company looking after the well being of the Govt. offices? Aren't breaker boxes located inside of the buildings? Is the roof leaking also?
But yet we must spend top dollars for an old building to house the new parliament building while all other departments will be left without proper housing?

oh, oh, oh, questions, questions, questions but no answers?

I agree. The money spend on the absurd rent of the new parliament building should be spent to finish the government building. This will safe a lot of rent from the current offices, which in turn can be used to build a proper government building.

i want to know WHY GEBE IS BLAMING "THE RAIN" from tropical storm FIONA
come better tha tha guys
it's the current going and coming five - six times a day
we had VERY LITTLE RAIN from THAT tropical storm
don't be fooled by GEBE
they don't need an excuse they are VERY GOOD in WHAT they do

We have had torrential rains and the box never got wet before?

How many times damages were not caused by the constant taking off of electricity? GEBE got to stop this nonsense. There is always an excuse. Get real and get your act together. Not only NA has to go, Brooks has to march right now also.
