Philipsburg: --- NAGICO Insurances will be once again participating in the Lions Health & Wellness Fair. The company will provide general information on its products and services, in particular NAGICARE Health Insurance and Life Insurance products.

Life Insurance Manager at NAGICO, Jacqueline Bennett stated: "The Health Fair provides for an interactive opportunity between NAGICO and the community, whereby we can continue to form part of the initiatives of the St. Maarten Lions Club to continue to increase health care awareness on the island. Health and Life Insurance should be an integral part of anyone's financial plan as they provide the means to monies needed to cover the ever-increasing health costs as well as providing financial security for surviving family members in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Our company encourages the public at large to partake in this informative event, that is not only free of charge but also provides an opportunity to get in tuned with all aspects of healthcare, including insurance products, and financial planning services which include protection and savings."

The company will also be providing logistical support to the Health Department's HIV Aids Program Management Team, including NAGICO employees who have volunteered to assist with administrative duties.

Isn't it true that behind all of this apparent concern for health care awareness, is nothing but, breaking ground for a most lucrative NAGICO controlled health care service for the residents of Country St. Maarten, come 10-10-10 ?
Just look around and the iron grip of Mc. Sood on St. Maarten economy is evident, along with the growing number, influence and arrogance of many Gyuanese.

A brief reaction to the comment below----without using the spell checker!

St. Maarten's economy was built on the backs of both local and foreign investors. While we as a people must always remain vigilent and protect our interests from those (irregardless of their place of birth) who come here or were born here and pretend to care while plundering our limited (human) resources for self gains, Mr. McSood and Nagico for that matter, have proven to be good corporate citizens in every sense of the word.

McSood and his mixed Guyaneese and Local Management Team have grown Nagico into a strong company - with head quarters in St. Maarten, not Guyana!. He has made St. Maarten his home and has expanded Nagico to a inter-Caribbean company which all St. Maarteners should be proud of.

Running a business requires making difficult decisions and ongoing positive and creative thinking. Critizing and narrow minded thinking accompanied by envy, gets us no where!

St. Maarten has become a cultural-mix of people. Look around you and face the reality.......through the ease of travel and (internet)communications, the world has changed. Wake up, get with the program, and adapt to the new environment of opportunities!

----Do something!---- Come up with a business idea and call McSood for advice. I am sure that he would be more than willing to help you, just like the many others he has in the recent past......and still continues to do!
