MARIGOT:---Former Pilot of WINAIR and former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Directors pf Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIAE) Michel Hodge passed away on Saturday night in Guadeloupe.
Hodge worked as a pilot for WINAIR for many years. He was a business man who also was active in the Franchise business. He contributed to the supervisory boards of St. Maarten Ports Authority (SMPA) and PJIAE. Mr. Hodge was one of the persons that worked closely with PJIAE management in finalizing the funding of the airport reconstruction program with the World Bank in Washington DC in December 2019.
Michel Hodge was 71 years old at the time of his passing.
SMN News understands that Hodge suffered a heart attack and was flown to Guadeloupe of medical treatment where he succumbed.
