i want to know what's happening with the emergency homes that is here, because if they are emergency homes for hurricane then i think the people that is in them now had enough time to get there act together and find housing for themselves by now, these houses is emergency houses not full time live in houses and i think we need to look into this matter

to young sxm , there are people living in Dutch Quarter Emergency homes, the homes should be made more livable and comfortable for the people living there. This should not be the forgotten zone on the island. Maybe a control post should be put in place to keep law and order if the autority prefer not to go up in there. There are also a large amount of children that need some kind of activities up there.
We are the friendly island, we help one and all.

Marlin, finally help is on the way. we do need these houses. The condition in how many people are living is deplorable. We have been consetrating on roads while our own St. maarteneers are in need of a propper house. I have been visiting different neighborhoods on the island and its not to nice. You will only see reality when you move from the main road and enter the allyes and the lanes. In many occations you need to walk in.

You can see the condition of the children when they come to school. Many will say they are not from here, but that is not the case. they are born from local parents. If our children have the chance to grow up in a better home that they have now, the right education, more activities like sport, playing of instuments, church activities for youths, developments of the island and carribean island, cultural activities, we wont be faced with the great chalenges that we are faced with today.

Marlin, your focus on peoples needs is the right one. Stay strong and Keep ding what you God have you to do.

its is only the onces that are living in deplorable conditions will know how it really feels. I konw that God will provide a home for ALL who is inneed of one.
