covid19stats05042020MARIGOT:--- The Prefecture of St. Martin has confirmed that there are two additional cases of confirmed COVID-19 cases making it 19 active cases on the Northern side of the island. The Prefecture states all areas of St. Martin are being affected by the global pandemic.
Since October 2019, more than 7 cases of dengue fever have been identified, with symptoms sometimes close to those of the coronavirus. Protect yourself from mosquito bites using mosquito nets or by sleeping under mosquito nets during the day. Take advantage of the lockdown to destroy the larval cottages. In case of fever, ask your treating doctor to avoid saturating the emergency numbers including 15.
Persons are advised to take precautions and respect the social distancing guidelines and to also respect the restrictions on movement on public roads.
