Philipsburg:---On Friday November 27th a man with initials K.K. filed an official, report with the Special Robbery Unit stating that on Thursday November 26th at approximately 11.30 p.m. while riding on his motorcycle in the direction of Dawn Beach, he was blocked by gray colored Toyota Corolla. At the same time and unknown man riding on a scooter arrived on the spot.

This man pushed him at which time he lost balance and fell to the ground with the motorcycle landing on his right leg. While on the ground, another man stepped out of the gray Toyota holding a gun in his hand and threatening the victim with it. Both suspects then beat and robbed the victim of all his belongings. After committing this act, the suspects rode off with the motorcycle of the victim leaving him behind in a helpless condition.

The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics and the transported to the St Maarten Medical center for further treatment. At the hospital, the victim was informed that he had a broken leg. The Special Robbery Unit is investigating.
