OM taking preventive measures in light of COVID-19 outbreak.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Public Prosecution Service of Sint Maarten is encouraging the general public to make use of its online services, instead of physically visiting the office.

As a result of the fast-spreading COVID-19 virus, the Public Prosecutor’s Office is emplacing prevention measures for its employees and visitors to the office, like many other establishments on the island.

Persons issued fines, with a deadline of April 8th 2020, will be allowed to pay their fines after this date through card transaction at the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Persons are also encouraged to pay their fines via online banking. When paying fines via online banking remember to include the proces-verbal or parket number.
