PHILIPSBURG:--- The Court of Appeal sentenced H.H.M. (24) to 22 years imprisonment and 25 years imprisonment for H.F.M. (27), for the liquidation of Franky Brunache in Hope Estate on January 24th, 2017.
In the Court of First Instance, they were both sentenced to 25 years imprisonment.
The liquidation was carried out during an ongoing trial period of H.F.M. H.F.M. was on probation for another offense and for that reason the Court imposed 25 years. Also, as requested by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Court ordered the execution of this suspended sentence of
1-year imprisonment.
The Court found it proven that both suspects together planned and carried out the liquidation of
Franky Brunache.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office is pleased with this outcome.

Hof bevestigt veroordelingen Brocolli-onderzoek
Het Gemeenschappelijk Hof van Justitie heeft beide verdachten in het Brocolli-onderzoek naar de moord op Franky Brunache in hoger beroep veroordeeld. Het Hof legde H.H.M. (24) een gevangenisstraf op van 22 jaar. Verdachte H.F.M. (27) heeft 25 jaar gekregen.
Eerder werden beide verdachten veroordeeld tot 25 jaar gevangenisstraf, voor de liquidatie van Brunache in Hope Estate op 24 januari 2017. Het Openbaar Ministerie had het Hof verzocht dit vonnis te bevestigen.
H.F.M. liep in een proeftijd van een ander strafbaar feit en om die reden heeft het Hof hem 25 jaar opgelegd. Ook heeft het Hof – zoals verzocht door het Openbaar Ministerie – de tenuitvoerlegging van deze voorwaardelijke straf van 1 jaar gevangenisstraf bevolen.
Het Openbaar Ministerie is tevreden met deze uitkomst.
