Peridot Foundation expresses deep sadness on the passing of Ms. Cassandra Gibbs.

“ I CAN FOUNDATION, OUR COMMUNITY LOST A
SELFLESS WOMAN OF STATURE ”

PHILIPSBURG:--- Founder of the Peridot Foundation stated: “ Peridot Foundation shares with many our grief to the family, friends, in general and in particular the staff and children left behind in the care of I can Foundation after the recent death of its founder Ms. Cassandra ‘Debbie’ Gibbs. Her vision, help and care for children who fell between the cracks of society for a variety of reasons, filled a gap, most needed. Providing a safe place, a home for many children and young adults, was her life-long work. Mission accomplished, and it will continue. ”

Arrindell said: “ honoring the legacy of Ms. Debbie’s work will be through the continuation of much needed subsidies and private donations to keep the doors of this Home open for many more years to come. Ms. Gibbs lived most of her life giving love, hope, and shelter to the most vulnerable, but not forgotten”

Gracita said; “while we have had the privilege to have seen the work of her and her dedicated staff, on location a few times over the years, it is and will never be enough as long as we as a people continue to look the other way. Our society is a better place, because of the sacrifices
and selfless contributions she has made to this worthy cause. There is a well-known saying which goes as follows: ‘every where in life, the true question is not what we gain, but what we do’.

Arrindell concludes: “Long live I Can Foundation.
Ms. Debbie, Yes you did!
Rest in Eternal Peace.”
