Hurricane Clean Up.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (VROMI) would like to inform the general public of the upcoming 2019 Hurricane Clean-up. Each district is assigned a date to dispose of unwanted debris. The debris must be placed
curbside or by designated locations for collection. Debris in private yards will not be collected by the hauler.

Debris that is expected to be placed on curbside:
• Bulky Domestic Waste (furniture and electrical appliances, large appliances refrigerators, ovens, TV’s, computers, carpets and car tires)
• Bulky White Waste (bathtubs, toilets, and sinks)
• Bulky Garden Waste (pruned branches and cut grass must be placed in garbage bags.) Yard trimming such as leaves, twigs branches and limbs should be properly stacked for the hauler to collect.

Car wrecks will not be part of the 2019 Hurricane Clean-up with the haulers.

Senior citizens and/or disabled persons in need of assistance during the cleanup must contract the VROMI Department of Infrastructure at phone number 5207023 Ms. C. Hazel or 5207028 Mr. Schaminee.

Residents are advised to pay keen attention to the clean-up schedule. We urge residents to take advantage of the hurricane clean-up. By working together and keeping St. Maarten clean we can be prepared this 2019 Hurricane Season.
