~ MP Mercelina voted in favor of postponing budget until mid-July.~
PHILIPSBURG:--- Eight Members of Parliament voted in favor of postponing the budget debate to mid-July as requested by three MPs from the opposition benches, they are Rolando Brison (USP), Christopher Emmanuel and Jurendy Doran (from the National Alliance Faction). While the chair accepted receipt of the letter and proposal, she denied the request which led to a vote on Friday morning, the outcome of that vote landed in favor of the opposition since MP Luc Mercelina supported the request of the opposition by voting in favor of the postponement while six MPs supporting the coalition voted against the postponement.
