PHILIPSBURG:--- On May 18th, 2019, the No Kidding with our kid's Foundation along with volunteers took the initiative to perform a beach Clean Up at the Mullet Bay Beach; during this activity, approximately 20 kg of trash was collected and separated into 3 categories in just under forty minutes.
The organization has prided itself on the fact that they decided to take on the responsibility to be more environmentally friendly some months ago with the start of the “ASA’s Recycling Project”. This activity was just one of their many efforts to involve, not only the children within their care but also the community, on their journey ‘towards a more sustainable St. Maarten’.
The foundation said they will definitely continue to organize these activities. And have so much more in store as they continue to dig deeper into this project, according to project manager, Nisalyna Bontiff.
