PHILIPSBURG: --- If you are planning to visit St. Maarten or if you are living on the island and wants to enjoy the panoramic view of Great Bay then it is recommended that you visit the newly opened Zipline, Pelican Peak. Meet their friendly and knowledgeable staff that are willing to help you as you go on your adventure. Its one of the many tour’s day visitors can do while getting the opportunity to take an island tour before or after. Pelican Peak is located close to Dock Martins on the way to Pointe Blanche. Visitors are then shuttled to the trail that is in the hills of Pointe Blanche.
Located on the way to Pointe Blanche the new entrepreneurs have affordable prices for both residents and tourists. A mere $49.00 would allow you to enjoy the view as you walk through the various trails while you could video your experience as you make it down the zip line. Islanders do not need to make reservations or be afraid as they are welcome to visit Pelican Peak any day of the week, ask for the special prices that are available for local residents and for schools. Packages are also available for schools and groups.
Meet the local team, friendly workers that will assist you so that you could enjoy the once in a lifetime experience. While hiking the trail you are able to relax at various locations that allow you to snap the best photos from above as you look down at Great Bay and the harbor in Pointe Blanche, while there you could grab a drink and also enjoy the cool breeze in a quiet surrounding.
The Manager Jonathan Duncan, and Natasha and the local team that works both on the trail and in office will give you as much information you need on the island’s history.
Pelican Peak is the latest Zipline that is outside of cultural sites, one that does not interfere with the island’s historic parks, but instead gives you and your family a sneak peek of what St. Maarten has to offer besides booze and food.
Preserving nature while showcasing the island giving visitors and students an opportunity to document the untouchable areas on St. Maarten. A 360-degree view of Great Bay and neighboring islands, such as Saba and St. Barthelemy.
Enjoy your visit to St. Maarten by exploring with Pelican Peak.
