Police make arrests in ongoing investigations.

arrestedfillin26092014PHILIPSBURG:--- The investigating officers of KPSM in charge of several ongoing criminal investigations made several arrests in these cases;
The first arrest was of a male suspect identified with initials D.F. Jr. He was arrested in connection with a female victim with whom he had a relationship and also for the Ill-treatment of another female who the suspect does not even know. The suspect was arrested on Sunday, April 28th at approximately 3 PM. He was taken to the police headquarters for questioning and where he remains in custody for further investigation.
The second arrest was of a male suspect identified with initials S.C. He was arrested in connection with the threatening of a victim with a gun. The incident happened in January of this year and managed to avoid arrest after committing the act. During the arrest which took place on Sunday, April 28th at approximately 4 PM, the suspect was searched for safety reasons. During this search, a considerable amount of cocaine was found on the suspect. The drugs were confiscated for further investigation. The suspect was taken to the police headquarters where he remains in custody for further investigation.
The third arrest was of a male suspect identified with initials S.S.D. He was arrested in connection with the ongoing shooting investigation which occurred earlier this year in the vicinity of Boasman Bar in Sint Peters. The suspect was taken to the Philipsburg Headquarters and placed into custody for questioning and further investigation.
The fourth arrest was of a male suspect identified with initials L.A.L.J. He was arrested based on a warrant for his arrest issued by the Public Prosecution Service. He was arrested on Monday, April 29th suspected of threat and destruction of property. He was taken to the police headquarters where he remains in custody for questioning and further investigation.


Suspect in Human Trafficking/Smuggling arrested

On Saturday, April 27th, 2019, the Human Trafficking/Smuggling Team of KPSM, together with the help of the Uniform Division arrested 1 person in connection with an ongoing case of Human smuggling.
After the arrest, the suspect identified with initials M. R.C., was brought to the Police station in Philipsburg, where she was questioned by the detectives of the Human smuggling team, placed in custody and turned over to the Immigration Department.
