PHILIPSBURG:--- The Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset will be hosting a Slumber Reading Fun Pajama evening for children between the ages of 6-12, on September 28th, 2018 from 7:00pm-10:00pmß. The Reading Slumber fun will be held at the John Lamornie Center.
As part of Rotary International, every month is themed, and September is themed “Basic Education and Literacy” month. In order to promote literacy in- and outside of the classroom, the club came up with the idea to host a Reading Slumber Fun evening. The children will be entertained with story time, arts and crafts, face painting and a movie night. The price of the Slumber Reading Night is $5 per child. Pre-registration will be held Saturday, September 15th at the John Larmonie Center and outside of Cost U Less from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Parents and guardians are encouraged to utilize the pre-registration, as only 60 children will be admitted to the event. Children are urged to wear their pajamas and bring along a blanket and pillow.
