Pond Island:---TelEm Group’s TelEm Fiber team will be carrying out essential upgrade works on their underground fiber cable network in the Simpson Bay, Lowlands and surrounding areas Wednesday following cancellation of a similar work plan last Sunday.
The team held back on their initial plan so that all residential and business customers in the affected areas could be fully informed.
“It is very important that customers are aware of these scheduled works, when exactly they will occur and how long they can expect their services to be affected,” said a team member.
The works are now scheduled to begin shortly after 6:00 pm Wednesday evening (May 30) and are due to be completed by 6:00 am the following morning (Thursday, May 31).
