Inspector Generals of Curacao, Aruba and St. Maarten sign Covenant of Collaboration.

inspectorgeneralssigncovenant02122017WILLEMSTAD, Curacao:--- The three Inspector Generals of the Public Health for Curaçao, Aruba, and Sint Maarten signed a Covenant of Collaboration on November 30, 2017. In this document, the three Inspectors will support each other in terms of exchanging manpower, information and collaborate on relevant projects.
This cooperation agreement is a logical follow-up to the 'Memorandum of Understanding' which was signed last July by the Ministers of Public Health of the three countries.
The signing of the covenant happened at the end of the first very successful work conference between employees of the three inspectorates.
This has laid the foundation for strengthening the supervision and enforcement functions in the three Caribbean countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This will go to expected soon to be followed with the formal (re) recording of the cooperative relationship with the Health Care Inspectorate (IGZ) of the European Netherlands.
