Curfew goes in effect on Monday at 7PM.

GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Prime Minister William Marlin together with the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) makes it known as of Monday evening September 18th at 7 PM a CURFEW will go into effect until the passing of the Hurricane Maria and a damage assessment has been completed.

Everyone should be off the roads at that time as the Law Enforcement Authorities will be enforcing a Zero Tolerance for anyone breaking the curfew. The general public will be informed as to when the curfew will be lifted.

It is mandatory that all businesses be closed at 5:00 PM to allow their employees to return home.

Vigilance Red tonight 7pm.

In anticipation of the approach of Hurricane Maria, normally expected to be a category 4 when it will be passing by 150 km of St Martin tomorrow Tuesday, the Red Warning will be effective from 7 p.m this evening (Monday September 18th, 2017), and a traffic ban will be issued at the same time until Wednesday the 20th of September.
For security reasons, please follow these instructions carefully.
