Notary did not have decree to allow former Ministers to register Justice Academy.

rafiboasman09082017PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Justice Rafael Boasman made clear on Wednesday that he will stand by his statements when he said the Justice Academy was not established. The Minister said that indeed the former Minister of Justice Roland Duncan and Roland Tuitt went to notary Mingo to register the Justice Academy as a foundation and while the articles of incorporated were drafted the process was not finalized. He said that the notary informed him in writing that they could not finalize the establishment of the foundation and register it at the Chamber of Commerce because they did not have the decree that allowed the two former Ministers to execute the establishment of the Justice Academy Foundation. Minister Boasman said when he was informed he tried to locate the decree and none could be found. Boasman said his statements and remarks about the establishment of the Justice Academy was not to put anyone in a bad light especially people he considers friends, however, the situation is the way he explained it and his job is to get it fixed which is what he is busy doing.
