Indications are the bodies of the victims might be connected to the Mars Investigation.
PHILIPSBURG:---In connection with the ongoing investigation regarding the human remains that were discovered on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 near the Belair beach, it has become clear to the investigators that these remains are from two different persons of whom their identity have not yet been officially established.
DNA samples of these remains have been taken to be sent to the Forensic Laboratory in the Netherlands for further investigation. There is, however, an indication that these remains may be linked to the Mars investigation.
As the investigation continues and more information becomes available the media will be informed.

In the meantime, the Gendarmes has denounced reports that indicate that the remains found in a container on the Galis Bay Port are in any way connected to the Mars investigation.
