PHILIPSBURG:---In connection with the criminal investigation code named “Catfish ” the suspects C.H.M. (53), J.M.S. (68) andR.J.L. (39) have been being questioned for their involvement in the case.
The Catfish investigation started in March 2013 after R.J.L filed an official complaint of attempted bribery to 'jump ship'.
A number of witnesses have been interrogated and important documents analyzed.
As the investigation is in full swing, additional witnesses are asked to come forward and get in contact with the National Detective Agency (Landsrecherche), if necessary via the number of anonymous witnesses (+1-721-527-2623). In the coming days, other suspects will also be questioned.
Catfish investigation is being carried out by the National Detective Agency (Landsrecherche Sint Maarten) under the authority of the Prosecutor's Office.
