Suspect arrested/ in Mars investigation.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Detective Department of the KPSM is still busy with “Mars” investigation which is regarding two men namely Luis David Sarante-Diaz also known as “Blanco” and Erwin Rosario Contreras also known as “Eggy” who went missing on Monday December 5th 2016, after they entered a hotel room at the Simpson Bay Resort and Marina.
On Wednesday, July 12th, 2017, a press release was issued by the police department in the local newspapers and on Social Media, in search for a green old model Dodge Caravan. This vehicle was last seen on the premises of the Simpson Bay Resort and Marina on the same date the two men went missing and was most probably used in the disappearance of both men.
As the investigation continued on Wednesday, July 12th the man with initials M.A.W. was arrested as a suspect in this case. The green old model Dodge Caravan was located and confiscated for further investigation. The suspect remains in restricted custody for questioning in this investigation.

Two armed robberies under investigation
The Special Unit Robbery is presently investigation two separate armed robberies which took place on Wednesday, July 12th. The first robbery took place at approximately 07.45 p.m. at Sunshine Supermarket on Genip road in Sint Peters.
This is where two unknown men dressed completely in black, one armed with a handgun and the other with a large knife stormed into the establishment and while threatening the cashier stole and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The second robbery took place at Four Star Supermarket in Sucker Garden at approximately 09.15 p.m. This is when a lone gunman dressed in dark clothing stormed into the establishment and robbed the cashier of an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects in both cases fled the scene after committing this act.
