PHILIPSBURG:--- On Thursday, January 12th at approximately 06.00 p.m. the lady by the name of Diana James came to the Philipsburg Police Station and filed a report with the Detective Department in which she stated that her nine-year-old daughter by the name of Zariyan Salmon has gone missing and has not yet returned home.
Zariyan is a student at the Martin Luther King Jr. School located in Zorg en Rust. Zariyan went to school early on Thursday morning. She would be picked up by the school bus after school lets out at 12.45 p.m. and driven to the Wing Da Supermarket on Nazareth road where she would be picked up by her mother at around 01.00 p.m.
On the arrival of her mother Zariyan was nowhere to be found. D. James contacted friends and acquaintances to try to locate Zariyan without any success. Zariyan has not yet been found or returned home.
Zariyan is of dark complexion, slim posture and is dressed in a school uniform from the Martin Luther King Jr. School. Anyone who may have seen Zariyan or have any information concerning her whereabouts should immediately get in contact with the Detective Department by calling 54-22222 ext. 214-215 or the emergency number 911.
Shortly after the missing-year-old girl Zariyan Salmon was found. She was located at an acquaintance in Belvedere. She is in good health and in is in custody of her mother.
