Appeals Court asked for equal time in Shotgun case.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Solicitor-General on December 15, 2016 asked for jail sentenced of 22 and 15 years in jail for the suspects R.O.R. and B.A.D during the appeal case in the Shotgun investigation. The punishment asked for by the Solicitor-General is in accordance with the sentence the two suspects received on June 8 by the Court of First Instance of St. Maarten. R.O.R was sentenced by the Court of First Instance for aggravated manslaughter, extortion and accessory to illegal firearm possession concerning two armed robberies that took place at the Sol gas stations in Cole Bay and Simpson Bay. During the armed robbery in Cole Bay the gas station attendant was shot dead. B.A.D. was found guilty by the Court of First Instance for for committing a violent robbery which led to the death of the victim, extortion and accessory to illegal firearm possession.
