BREAKING NEWS: Bonaire Government fell Thursday afternoon.

Independent Member felt that coalition partners did not do enough in The Hague to solve the social issues in Bonaire.

BONAIRE: --- The government in Bonaire fell late Thursday afternoon according to information reaching SMN News the government in Bonaire collapsed around 7pm.
The five-seat majority lost one of its members who is an independent member. MPB had three seats while they were supported by Independent member Nunu Raphaela and Dr. Esther  Bernabella a female independent member. SMN News learned that Nunu Raphaela left the coalition leaving the government with four seats.
The council of Bonaire has 9 seats, where any government would need five seats to form a government.
According to the information SMN News received is that the two independent members felt that the MPB members did not do enough in The Hague to solve the many social problems the residents of Bonaire are facing such as the high cost of living, pension allowances, and other grievance.
