PHILIPSBURG:--- On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, Patrick LESCUYER was found shot twice in the head in his car near the Grandes Cayes beach in Cul de Sac - Saint Martin. On Wednesday, July 13, 2016, his mother, Françoise LESCUYER who shot around 9am Leader Price Parking lot in Hope Estate. The victim was hit with three bullets.
A judicial inquiry was opened and investigators succeeded in identifying two individuals. One who committed the crimes for financial reasons, (he paid the killer) , the second is suspect that committed the murders.
On Thursday, October 20, 2016, during the morning, two suspects were arrested at their homes by the Intervention Platoon of the Republican Guard and the Platoon Surveillance and Intervention Gendarmerie of Saint Martin. They were immediately placed in custody. When they were confronted with various elements of the investigation, both suspects quickly admitted to the crimes they committed.
They were both transferred toPointe à Pitre Friday, October 21st, 2016 during the afternoon hours
