VAMED intends to hold USZV fully responsible for defying the law by signing contract for New Hospital with INSO.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The law firm that is representing the Austria company VAMED dispatched a letter to Director of USZV  Glen Carty on September 20th, 2016 informing him that they intend to hold USZV fully responsible for signing the contract with INSO after he was notified that a court procedure was initiated by their client. The states that the courts may hold USZV responsible for their actions of not respecting the law, and confirms their client’s suspicions that USZV was not willing to render accounts for its actions.
A copy of the Court Injunction that was filed on Monday, September 19th, 2016 was sent to Carty by email the said day the injunction was filed with the Court of First Instance which includes and prohibits USZV from signing the contract with any contractor. The letter to Carty further states that VAMED will hold USZV responsible for all damages as a result of signing and executing the contract and not awarding it to VAMED. The further stated as a result of the court procedure USZV may be required to dissolve the contract they signed with INSO on Monday.
In the same letter, the attorney has requested a copy of the signed DBM contract in order for them to verify its compliance with the Tender Procedures, they also requested other information on September 16th, 2016 and again urged Carty to transmit the documents within a period of 7 days after receipt of their letter.
