PHILIPSBURG:--- WIB employee volunteers were seen by many passing drivers near the Sucker Garden road picking up discarded thrash. The thrash picked up included; plastics, aluminum cans, and glass bottles. In total 20 construction bags were filled and discarded later at the landfill. The employees wore their BSure Insurance T-shirts and blue /orange WIB caps. The Clean Up was organized to help with the hurricane season preparations, in keeping the Island clean from debris and preventing drainage blocks. WIB employee volunteers had a great time and felt positive to have assisted with the clean-up. As many of the items discarded could have been recycled, WIB wishes to urge our community to practice recycling more. Your partners in progress.
