The mission of Love of Kids is to act as a home base through which Caribbean children with
learning challenges are enabled to learn and compete on an equal footing with others.

The Diabetes Foundation offers awareness for diabetes in the community and does regular testing on Saturdays at various locations. Mid Isle is a regular supporter of this organization.

The Alzheimer foundation brings awareness to the community on dementia and Alzheimer decease.

Coach Tom Burnett's afternoon school program assists children with homework, linking their academics with baseball training. This year The Burnett's are taking children from their program to Canada for the summer where they will have the opportunity to visit among others the Niagra Falls. They will also go to see a Toronto Blue Jays game. Rotary Club of St. Maarten Mid Isle will cover the airfare for two children to make the trip.

The present board hopes to award a few more organizations with donations before the start of the new Rotary year on July 1, 2016. All other organizations who have come into consideration will receive funds for projects in the 2016/2017 Rotary year.
