Buncamper’s and Prosecutor’s filed appeal against verdict rendered on April 7th.

PHILIPSBURG:--- Both parties in the Buncamper’s case have filed appeals against the verdict rendered on April 7th 2016 where all the suspects were convicted.
SMN News learnt the Buncampers filed an appeal against the verdict almost immediately after it was rendered while the prosecutor’s office filed an appeal last week.
The Prosecutors office made their decision known through a press release that was issued on Monday which reads, The Prosecutor’s Office appealed last week the verdicts of the Court of First Instance of all five suspects in the Buncamper-case. M.J.B.-M., C.A.B., F.E.G. and I.A.H. were found guilty by the Court of First Instance of committing forgery with authentic deeds and filing falsified tax returns. M.J.B.-M. and C.A.B were sentenced to 12 months in jail fully suspended and 240 hours of community service, I.A.H. was sentenced to 3 months in jail fully suspended and 120 hours of community service and F.E.G. was sentenced to 240 hours of community service. The suspect T.O.W. was acquitted of all charges.
