Minister Labor got no computer or internet when he took office.

emillee25112015PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Labor Emil Lee told reporters on Wednesday that he is busy getting his office together since he did not find any computers in his office neither does his office has internet. Minister Lee said that the moment he took office on Thursday he began looking for materials to work with while he is busy recruiting qualified staff members to work in his cabinet. The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs said he also took some time to meet with the civil servants working for his Ministry because they are the ones that have to work daily on the people’s business.
Minister Lee commended his government for resuming the weekly press briefings because he strongly believes that the government must be open and transparent at all times.
“Yesterday I attended my first Council of Ministers meeting and I was elated because I learn a lot more since this was the first time for me in such a position. I came from the private sector where things are done differently.”
