Me, Myself and Time excerpt

I hid behind a tree and used the tech watch given by Arnold as she ran away from me. I
caught up to her and with a flash of lights; I was paralyzed with fear on what I would open my
eyes to see. While between time wrap I thought to myself, how did I get in this predicament? Is it
a sign that I should try starting my life over? Before I could do anything, she ran quickly to ask
for directions to the red door building. Just this morning, I would have never thought that this
would ever happen. I better go and warn them. As I ran the usual route, I thought back to earlier.
"Come on, when have my calculations ever been wrong?" "Well..." I told my twin brother
Isadore. "Oh shut up, that was one time." My brother was across from me at the round cafe table
we shared in the small bakery in New Zealand. "But hear me out Indigo! I found a way to make
copies of ourselves. Imagine! We could be at the mall or the arcade while our copies are doing
our school work at home. They have the same mind capacity and DNA genetics just like us! Just
come into my lab and we can try it out." "If by lab you're referring to Arnold's parents' basement
then no." "Come on! You always drag me out with your friends and do all of these social events,
but you never come to any science expos or Mega Cons with me!" "Fine, I'll go, alright!"
