PHILIPSBURG:---- The University of St. Martin’s (USM) School of Continuing Education & Life Long Learning, (SCELL) held its second successful Brain Bytes Series this past Saturday, October 10, 2015. The workshops were held at USM. The sessions offered were: Customer Service versus Customer Care, Becoming Organized at Home or Work, and Learn Basic Office and Administrative Skills. Participants who attended the workshops raved about its content and the difference it made in their lives.
Ms. Benjamin stated: “The course/presentation was effective and invigorating. Much was learned in the time slot that was given.”
Dr. Gittens, SCELL’s Director, indicated, “Our purpose is to provide knowledge to the St. Maarten Community to enhance their day to day lives. Our workshops are specifically designed to meet every learner at their level of learning. We do not have a prerequisite for community persons to attend. Brain Bytes are open to anyone who wants to gain knowledge and advance their personal skills. Brain Bytes is the perfect, simple solution to making a measurable difference among members of the community who want lean and its working.”
Mrs. William-Thomas another participant raved about the good work USM is doing by offering Brain Bytes and stated: “Education is a continuous process. Keep up the good work at USM!”
